All I can say is all my life I've been interested in art, mainly because my mom was always going to art groups and hanging out with lots of other artists. She took lots of watercolor classes and I saw lots of watercolors there. Also movies affected me a lot especially animated cartoons, but I didn't get formally involved in art until a majored in art at Georgia State University and finally got my master's degree there. Then started teaching at Young Harris college and then transferred to LaGrange college.

I'm retired now but still doing my art which is mostly drawing and painting just like my major and frequently doing cartoons and lately trying to reactivate my watercolors.
